Costa Rica is a global leader in sustainable development, placing a strong emphasis on the conservation of its tropical rainforests, beaches, and marine life. Our resort fully embodies this vision. Our hotel consists of igloo cabins constructed using the airform method, whereby construction materials are built over a mold and allowed to set. The resulting dome is a monolith as solid as a rock and uses 50 percent less energy for heating and cooling than a conventionally constructed structure. Covered in tropical vegetation, the cabins harmonize beautifully with the surrounding fauna.
